The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall, with plenty of attractions nearby. The lodge itself was beautifully designed, both inside and out. It had all the amenities we needed, including clean linen, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kids loved that the sofa turned into a comfortable bed, and we enjoyed relaxing and watching Netflix and sky TV. it was a great place for both couples and families, and we would definitely recommend it.
For dads, it would be great to have a larger barbecue stand that is easily accessible.

We had an amazing stay at a beautifully fitted wooden lodge in Cornwall. The value for money was excellent and the room was cozy and clean. The location was perfect, surrounded by peaceful area and access to foot golf and golf.
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

I recently stayed at Wheal Amelia and it was a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the peaceful and cozy atmosphere of the lodge. The location at Wheal Dream was perfect for my foot golf and golf activities. The host was friendly and always available to answer any questions. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and had a lovely view of the sunset over the golf course. I also appreciated the back garden area with a washing line. The added bonus of having music with Amazon Alexa and access to Sky TV was a nice touch. And let's not forget the best Sunday Carvery at the on-site restaurant, which I highly recommend.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The lodge is in a great location for exploring Cornwall, with supermarkets nearby. the beds are comfy and the lodge is warm with central heating. the chalet is modern and clean, providing all the necessary items for a self-catering holiday.
The chairs at the breakfast bar are too high, making it uncomfortable to eat meals there.
